ابحث عن شخص على Mastodon بالاسم المستخدم

Mastodon handles are public and frequently mirror a person's Twitter/X or developer username. AliaScan takes a Mastodon handle and searches 3,000+ platforms for the same string to place the account in a wider context.

ما يكشفه البحث عن أسماء مستخدمي Mastodon

• •Matching accounts on Twitter/X, GitHub, Reddit and other platforms
• •Public profiles that help confirm a Mastodon user's identity
• •Exact handle matches across social and developer apps

كيف تعمل أسماء المستخدمين على Mastodon

• •A Mastodon address has two parts — @username@server — and only the pair identifies anyone; the same local name on two servers belongs to two unrelated people
• •The local part is short and limited to letters, numbers and underscores, and it is unique only within its own server, never across the network
• •Mastodon does not let you rename an account in place: the supported route is opening a new account elsewhere, aliasing it and moving your followers — posts do not come with you
• •The web address is https://<server>/@<username>, so the server's domain is baked into every link and every mention of the account

The federated address carries information no single-server handle does — the domain half already tells you which community someone chose — and because renaming in place is impossible, the local name is fixed for the account's life. The offsetting weakness is that the same local name is claimable on thousands of servers, so the string alone proves nothing without its domain.

ما لا يستطيع البحث عن أسماء مستخدمي Mastodon إخبارك به

A search cannot read followers-only or direct posts, reach servers that block outside crawling, or follow someone who has already migrated to a new address. Mastodon attracts people leaving mainstream networks on purpose, so a handle matching elsewhere may be a name they abandoned — or simply a stranger who registered the same local part on a different server.
