Comment fonctionnent les pseudos Battle.net
- •A BattleTag is 3–12 characters, cannot start with a number, allows accented letters and mixed capitals, and rejects spaces and symbols
- •Blizzard appends a numeric identifier automatically — the Name#1234 form — and that number cannot be chosen or altered by anyone, customer support included
- •The first BattleTag change is free; every change after that is a paid service bought from the Battle.net shop
- •Blizzard publishes no web profile for a BattleTag: the name is visible in-game and in the launcher friends list, not at a public URL
A BattleTag is one identity across every Blizzard game and a decade of guild rosters, so it tends to be old and deliberately kept. The suffix is the complication: the visible half of a BattleTag is not unique, so an exact string match may be a different player entirely — the discriminator is what actually identifies someone.
Un cas d'usage courant : Confirming who is behind a BattleTag before adding them, joining a guild or arranging a trade. AliaScan ne remonte que des informations déjà visibles publiquement sur chaque gaming platform.
Ce que a recherche de pseudo Battle.net ne peut pas vous dire
A search cannot see a friends list, characters, playtime, purchases or the Blizzard account behind a tag, and Blizzard exposes no public profile page to read. Because the visible part of a BattleTag is shared across accounts, a match on a short or common name is weak. Guild roster sites also cache tags that changed long ago.
